Temporary Restrooms for Businesses in the Triangle
Raleigh Restroom Co. rents a climate-controlled restroom trailer to businesses that need working restrooms for a few days or a few months. We deliver it, set it up, service it while you have it, and pick it up when the job is done.
The trailer is a Lang 5-Station Pro: three private stalls on the women's side, and one stall plus a waterless urinal on the men's side, with flushing toilets, running water, air conditioning and heat. It's the same trailer we bring to weddings, so it's fit for customers, not just crews.
We're a family business with one trailer, serving Wake, Durham, Orange, Johnston and Chatham counties. If it's already booked for your dates, we'll tell you right away.

Store and Office Remodels
If your restrooms are torn out but the doors stay open, customers and employees still need somewhere to go. We park the trailer near an entrance or staff area, connect it to your building's power and water, and service it for the length of the job. If the remodel runs long, the rental extends week to week.
Plumbing Failures and Outages
A broken sewer line or water shutoff can close a business the same day. When the trailer is free, we can sometimes deliver it the same day. See emergency rentals for how short-notice rentals work.
Construction Sites and Field Offices
For crews on a job site or staff in a field office, the trailer gives you flushing toilets, running water, and heat through the winter. Tell us your headcount and schedule, and we'll tell you honestly whether one trailer is enough.
Corporate and Customer Events
Customer-appreciation days, company picnics, open houses and ground-breakings. The trailer suits events of up to about 300 guests, and most events run $1,200–$2,100.
What We Handle
- Delivery and setup. We tow the trailer in, set it up, connect it to your site's power and water, and check that everything works. For shorter rentals, we can usually bring our own generator and fresh water instead.
- Stocking. The trailer arrives cleaned and stocked with supplies.
- Servicing. Cleaning, restocking and waste-tank pump-outs, scheduled around how much the trailer is used.
- Pickup. We disconnect and haul the trailer away when you're done.
Servicing on Long-Term Rentals
How often we service the trailer depends on how much it's used. We'll agree on a starting schedule with your site contact before delivery and adjust it as we go. Remote monitoring also helps us plan pump-outs around actual use.
What Your Site Needs
- Power, for rentals longer than a couple of days. At least 20-amp service, or 30-amp or higher for winter, within 100 feet of where the trailer will be placed. Most regular household outlets aren't enough. Not sure what you have? Send us a photo of the outlet.
- Water, for rentals longer than a couple of days. A garden-hose spigot within 100 feet of where the trailer will be placed.
- Shorter rentals. Usually no hookups needed; we bring a generator and fresh water.
- A level spot. Relatively flat, stable ground, about 20 by 13 feet.
- Access. Room for our truck to back the trailer in, and overhead clearance for a trailer about 11½ feet tall.
Pricing and Payment
Long-term, remodel and emergency rentals are quoted per project, based on how long you need the trailer, how far the site is from Raleigh, and how often it needs servicing. We reply to every request within one business day, and every project gets its own written quote.
Long-term rentals can be billed weekly. Invoices are paid online by card or ACH bank transfer, and businesses can ask about paying by check.
Paperwork for Your Vendor File
We can provide a certificate of insurance (COI), a W-9 and a signed rental contract. If your company or general contractor needs specific COI wording, send the requirements with your request so we can get them to our insurer early.
Accessible Restrooms
Our restroom trailer isn't ADA-accessible. If your site needs an accessible restroom, tell us when you request a quote. We'll try to arrange an ADA-accessible porta potty (a wheelchair-accessible portable toilet) and place it right next to our trailer. That's handled case by case and depends on availability.
Recent Work
- Emergency veterinary hospital. A Triangle-area animal hospital lost its restrooms to a plumbing failure. We delivered the trailer the same day, once the invoice was paid, and the hospital extended twice, about two weeks in all, with a pump-out partway through.
- Utility contractor, 14 weeks. A utility contractor kept the trailer on its site for its crew from October through January, billed weekly.
- Equipment dealer, repeat events. A heavy-equipment dealer booked the trailer for three employee events in Mebane.
